Full range for Make Up For Ever Step 1 Primer

#1 Mattifying, #2 Smoothing, and #6 Radiant - Cool Pink are my picks.

The packaging is a squeeze tube with a long nozzle tip, dispense just the right amount needed. Each tube contains a large amount of 30ml of  products and cost IDR 550.000. Yes, it lays on the high end side, but believe me, it delivers a high quality result which will not let you down. A little bit goes a long way, so it will last a little bit longer.

Let's get into each products...

#1 Mattifying Primer

This one designed for combination to oily skin. It help absorb shine and reduce excessive oil production. I have oily skin and have tried several different primers, so far this one holds up the longer. It can hold up to 8 hours. The application can be a bit tricky, since it dried out super quick so you have to blend it fast. I only use it in my T-Zone Area and a little bit around my cheek and that work just fine. I did a little test where I incorporated the mattifying primer on to my daily make up routine to find out the staying power and here's the result..

First application, taken at 13:00, as you can see it was matte and velvet smooth

Taken 4 hrs later, at 17:00 there was a little bit of shine on my nose. I purposely did not blot my face or touch up at all.

Taken 8 hrs later, at 21:00. I hadn't blot my face or touch up at all. My nose and cheek were oily but not much (usually it is worse). Blotting paper and a little touch up will do the trick. My foundation lasted me for more 12 hrs and then it start to slide off everywhere. *yup I did use my make up until 02:00 early morning* (>"<)

#2 Smoothing Primer

Smoothing primer will blurs out imperfection such as fine lines and pores, even out the skin texture and eases the application of foundation. It has the same silky smooth texture as Benefit POREfessional but a little bit wet. It is slightly tinted but blend to transparent color, so it work well for all skin tone. I found the best way to apply foundation on top of this is using a tapping motion with fingers or you can dab it to the skin with a sponge. This way, it won't let you primer moving around your face, otherwise all your effort will end up useless.

Here is my bare skin just freshly cleansed and has nothing on top of it.

In this picture, I applied MUFE Step#2 Smoothing Primer around my cheek area. The pores are visibly blurs out and the surface looks smoother.
#6 Radiant Primer - Cool Pink

The radiant primer comes in several tone and I picked the cool pink one, because I tend to do make up on fair to medium skin tone. However if you have a deeper skin tone, you can pick the yellow or caramel color. They have one for every skin tone. This one is perfect for fair tone and/or dull skin that need a little bit of lift. It reflects the light beautifully and gives a healthy rosy glow to the skin, making the skin looking more glamorous, fresh and brighter. It has a lightweight texture and also hydrate the skin for easier make up application. I love to use it for party, pre-wedding, and bridal make up on my clients and myself.

Here I applied a thin layer of MUFE #6 Radiant - Pink Primer to my left (right side) hand and you can see that it looked brighter than the other one.
The best part of these primers is that if you have several skin concerns, you can mix or layer them. As I mentioned above, I used the mattifying primer on my T-Zone and cheek area, then top it with the smoothing primer only on my nose and cheek. And if I fancy a glam look, I will slap the radiant primer all over my face. And Boom!! You're party ready..

So now you know my top secret on looking flawless all the time. What's yours?
